Facility Rental

Renaissance Theatre is located at 1022 Commerce Street in historic Downtown Lynchburg. The facility is available for and lends itself to a variety of events including meetings, workshops or presentations, private parties, weddings/receptions, etc. Maximum seating capacity is 100 guests. The lobby area is 27' x 40' and seats 45-50 people at bistro tables and chairs. There is a serving area that can be used for drinks and food.

Alcohol is permitted provided the renter secures the ABC license and takes full responsibility for any alcohol use.

If your group is larger, our Theatre space is 40' x 40' and seats approximately 90 - 95 people in stadium-style seating (no tables). Food and drink must be kept in the lobby area.

Renaissance Theatre offers an open space, excellent acoustics, and an inviting atmosphere. The facility provides handicapped-accessible bathrooms and a water fountain. Central heat and air conditioning provide year-round comfort. Renaissance Theatre is a non-smoking facility.

Free 2-hour parking is available on the street and a pay parking area is located across the street.
